| Green Home Building Process |
All building projects move through a logical series of phases until complete. We will be in contact with you every step of the way to answer questions and ensure satisfaction. Our process of off-site building and on-site finishing is unique, so please take the time to familiarize yourself with our system. Phase 1: DesignYour home is meant to be designed by you; That's why its important for you to select a builder with a reputation for quality construction, flexible designs, and abundant choices in options and upgrades. We build what we like to call “custom modular homes.” Were we take home plans, customize them to your desires then adjust them to work within the higher standards of construction utilized by system-built construction methods. Phase 2: EstimateWe respond to your initial inquiry, set a meeting to go over your design goals and budget parameters and provide you with an estimate. Phase 3: AgreementYour final budget will be reviewed and approved. The scope of work, including a tentative production schedule, will be presented and upon approval, a signed contract will take you to the next, exciting phase. Phase 4: Site Prep/Home ConstructionAt this point permits are obtained and construction begins. Because the modules are built off site in environmentally controlled building centers, the site construction (grading, foundation walls) and homebuilding take place simultaneously, reducing the completion time line by up to 30 percent. Phase 5: Setting of HomeUpon delivery to a prepared foundation, our homes can be assembled by our trained professionals and weather-sealed in a very short time. When all the sections are assembled together, your home may be as much as 90% complete, depending on the type, design, and options you've selected. Phase 6: Exterior & Interior Finishing/LandscapingHere you will experience the Red Tree difference, we offer a variety of exterior and interior options that will be installed on-site to give you a distinctive custom feel to your home. At the same time landscaping, final hookups of plumbing, heating and cooling, and electrical will be completed.
