Once a condemned 1917 building – vacant for nearly 30 years and riddled with mold, rot, and asbestos – it now stands as a symbol of what’s possible when intention meets execution.
We restored the structure from the ground up, collaborating with Form & Function Architecture and RT Design to create a space that honors its history while embracing sustainability and innovation.
Features include:
- A newly added mezzanine and open layout
- Tesla solar panels generating 68% of the building’s energy
- High-efficiency ductless HVAC, spray foam insulation, and Energy Star appliances
- Sound mitigation for a quiet, focused environment
- Zero-VOC paints, cabinetry, and finishes
- Safe removal of environmental hazards like asbestos and lead
This project didn’t just revitalize a building – it sparked movement. Since the renovation, three neighboring properties have launched transformations of their own.
