One year ago, Hurricane Helene brought devastation to Asheville and much of Western North Carolina. The flooding, fear, and heartache are something we’ll never forget. But what stands out most is the way our community came together – neighbors helping neighbors, strangers stepping up, and kindness shining through the darkest days.
Even now, our work isn’t done. Many families and local businesses are still rebuilding and healing from the impact of that storm. The scars remain, but so does our shared determination to grow stronger together.
