Brandon Bryant as NAHB 2017 Green Professional Designee of the Year

WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 26 — Brandon Bryant, Master CGP, president of Red Tree Builders, Inc. in Asheville, N.C., has been named Green Professional Designee of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Bryant has more than 12 years of experience as a home builder and serves as president of the Asheville Home Builders Association. He envisions living in a world filled with innovative businesses and power-generating homes that are healthy environments for all to live in.

His homes have been featured on the cover of Green Builder magazine and he has received national and regional accolades such as the NAHB Best in Green Award, Innovative Home Award, Craftsmanship Award and North Carolina Star Award for Best Energy Efficient Home in the State.

“Ongoing education often means the difference between being good at what you do and being great at it,” said NAHB Education Committee Chair Beverly Koehn, CAPS, GMB, CSP, MIRM. “Brandon is dedicated to improving his own craft — and also encourages others to take the same opportunity.”

Bryant was voted the 2015 Asheville Builder of the Year and has also been named to Builder magazine’s Top 40 under 40.

“Exemplary designee holders like Brandon demonstrate their commitment to the tried and true — and also new and proven — methods of home building and remodeling,” Koehn added. “They are an asset to the housing industry and the federation.”
The 2017 Designee of the Year award winners were recognized in January at the 2018 International Builders’ Show in Orlando.
